New School!

Hope Academy students came out to prepare the site of the new school for the Bangladeshis who were coming to clear the site the next day.

The ground breaking ceremony was attended by the students from Hope Academy, The Bangladesh Engineers who cleared the land, and our international visitors. Our Principal Rachel places the first shovel in the ground. The ground was dedicated to Jesus Christ and the students of Hope Academy.

The project was well underway when I left and a call at the end of January tells me that they were ready for roofs on several of the buildings! Way to go!

BanEng3 strike again!

The Bangladesh Engineers also cleared land for a new clinic for Equip. They cleared bush from a 60x60 meter area for the clinic.

They also cleared land for Hope Academy's new school! I am so greatful that I can call these men friends! They not only cleared the land but they graded it and when the school is done they are talking about building a playground area for them! How awesome is our God that He puts folks like this in our lives!!!!

Here is what the land where the school is going looked like. They cleared it all!

Hope Village Road

In January the Bangladesh Engineers worked on the road in Hope Village for us. They did an incredible job. The road used to be one lane and full of pot holes and huge rocks! Now it is a 2 lane road smooth as silk!
